Find Your Spines, Democrats
As I write this post, the House Democratic Caucus has a scheduled meeting set to start in just a few minutes. In it, they are going to discuss their plan to combat Donald Trump's illegal and unconstitutional assault on our government, including the de-funding of crucial programs of our government, including SNAP, Medicaid, food assistance to schools and nonprofits, in fact, spending in every program except Social Security and Medicare.
Democrats in both Houses of Congress need to rapidly locate their spines. They must use every procedural tactic possible to prevent Donald Trump from continuing to steamroll his agenda, and his incompetent nominees, through Congress, and further damaging this country.
Trump's denial knowing anything about the of the roadmap to destroying this county, Project 2025, was obviously a lie to everyone who saw him feign ignorance leading up to the election, but here we are now with his toadies doing exactly what we said he'd do. Every horrific policy he's put in place over this last week came straight out of it.
